What other services are offered

At Gambitious we realize that in this new world of digital publishing and crowdfunding, many independent developers do not need the services (or the heavy hand) of a traditional publishing relationship. However, many of the teams we've spoken to could use help in certain areas to make their jobs easier and more efficient, and to reach the widest model possible. For this reason, we are offering Gambitious Production Services on a just-what-you-need basis catered to each project.

Developing and publishing are both complicated businesses, and there are many things to cover to ensure a project's success. Perhaps your team could use a reference to a good attorney, accounting help, business plan consulting, marketing and public relations help, outsourcing for voice-over acting, sound design, music licensing, testing, localization, console and platform publishing licenses, etc. Basically whatever you can think of, our team has a broad base of experience in, and we are happy to help you directly and/or make references for you.

No developer is required to use any of these services to place their project onto Gambitious. If you have it all covered, or have a publisher already offering all of these services, then that is great and you should just mention this in your project proposal. Similarly, if your intent is to use our services, you should mention this as well, as some investors might find a team that is bolstering its development expertise with our expertise to be a more secure investment.
