Train Fever is a railroad-focused business simulation game with role-playing elements. In other words, it's a modern-day Transport Tycoon with procedural content and a sophisticated city simulation.
Train Fever runs on an engine specifically developed for this game. A key point is the fact that there is no grid that game objects have to be aligned to.
The game will be published for the platforms PC, Mac and Linux. We estimate our target group to one million people. With an online sales strategy and a starting price of €25 we target to meet at least 30,000 sales.
Including low-price and budget sales, we expect total revenues of €822,500, of which Gambitious investors get 50% or €411,250. This results in a return on investment of 165%. For more details, please refer to the business plan. Also, there is more information on the project homepage.
Please note that everyone who invests at least €40 gets a copy of the final game for free (in addition to the shares).
